Bush Trucking, Excavating, & Lime Service began as Tom Bush Trucking Co. hauling gravel, sand, dirt, asphalt, and lime. Tom’s son, Joe, worked for his dad while attending college at MTSU and decided to start his own construction business – specializing in excavating and padding (leveling/grading). By the time Joe graduated in 1989, both Bush businesses were growing, full-time operations.
When Tom Bush died suddenly in 1991, both businesses came together. With the help of his mother and sister, Joe took charge of both entities of the Bush family construction operation. Over the past three decades, the Bush family has continued to cultivate a reputation for quality service and workmanship.
